FOX is doing the Glee Season 4 gallery photoshoot today. It would be a positive gesture from the network if they were to photograph Kurt & Blaine as a couple, Brittany & Santana as a couple. The girls were side by side for the Season 2 slushie photoshoot and they had Brittany carrying Santana as they ducked those dodegballs last season, but we’ve never had an official photo of Kurt & Blaine together. Even when they won the FOX facebook competition for favourite couple, FOX just [badly] photoshopped them.
If you want FOX to provide an official Kurt & Blaine portrait, or an official Brittany & Santana portrait, tweet @GleeonFox today and respectfully request that. And please re-blog this as widely as you can.
EDITED TO ADD: Chris is in LA today as he’s attending both the Teen Choice Awards [Lea will be there too] and Outfest tonight.

Dear Mr Reilly,
My name is Joanna, I am Australian and I live in the Independent State of Samoa, which is a developing country in the Pacific. I am writing to you to express my feelings about Glee, and how the show I love started to disappoint over the course of season three through what I perceive to be an inequality of treatment between LGBT and straight characters.
I started watching Glee when a friend lent me the Season 1 DVD. I enjoyed it immensely, in particular watching the characters Kurt, Rachel and Will, and have followed the show since. I truly connected to the show and entered online fandom partway through season two. Two episodes in particular touched me and pulled me in: “Sexy” and “Original Song”. These episodes have something in common: they showed what seemed to me to be true and touching love between teenagers. I felt for Santana when she laid everything bare for Brittany, and I rejoiced for Kurt and Blaine when they kissed.
Proximity survey #3: 315 “Big Brother” - 322 “Goodbye”
Public displays of affection. Public scenes versus private scenes. Proximity in the day-to-day choir room scenes. Our LGBT couples get screwed every which way.
Glee doesn’t seem to mind the girls indulging in a little PDA, as long as they don’t try to have a serious conversation.
Glee doesn’t mind the boys talking, as long as they do it with a chaperone and don’t try to express affection.

Many different people have been tweeting Glee Writers Offend Fans. Whilst we weren’t able to manage a Twitter Trend, we want to thank all those people who have made the effort to tweet their concerns, using this phrase. You’ve done so with respect, clarity and firmness and, at the very least, have filled the timeline of FOX and Brad Falchuk. We thank you and feel free to use the phrase in the future in your tweets to make your voices heard.
Proximity survey #2: 310 “Yes/No” - 315 “Big Brother”
We were asked to look at the proximity of the couples in choir room scenes to determine if the double standard we’ve noted in public displays of affection and public versus private scenes persists in this metric too.
We tried to place Finn & Rachel, Mike & Tina, Kurt & Blaine, Brittany & Santana in every choir scene in which it was possible to actually see and capture them. The results pretty much speak for themselves.
Every couple has their days when they’re snuggly and their days when they’re on opposite ends of the choir room. Some have more snuggly days than others. Draw your own conclusions there.
The sole exception? Kurt & Blaine. To the point that the double standard isn’t just glaring, it’s *ridiculous.* There are a couple of occasions when Blaine takes Kurt’s hand. Once, he reaches across to touch Kurt’s shoulder. See if you can find those!
