We’re delighted to be able to announce that, thanks to your generosity, we’re now able to offer our international fans a translation service! Volunteers have stepped up to help with letters in the following languages:

  • Bahasa Indonesia
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • Finnish
  • French
  • German
  • Hebrew
  • Italian
  • Korean
  • Malay
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Spanish

If there’s a language you can offer, we’d love to hear from you! Just drop us a line at

International fans who don’t have the resources to post their own letter to FOX can also take advantage of our volunteer mailing service. More information here.

With grateful thanks to all our volunteers!

You said you needed more people to translate some letters and I could translate the ones written in German, I'd be honored to help!

That’s great! If you could drop the gang a line at they’ll be delighted to add you to our little translation team. I hope you’ve written your own letter to FOX too!

What if I can’t afford to make international calls or buy international postage?

It’s important to call or mail letters yourself if you’re capable of doing so (those international calls and postmarks make a big impression), but we understand some international fans may not have the discretionary income to do so. For those fans, we offer a stateside mailing service. Simply email your letter to our volunteers at Your letter will be printed out and mailed to FOX by one of our volunteers. We will add a note that it was printed out and mailed by a Glee Equality Project volunteer for an international fan.

If you use this service, it’s very important to make sure your letter explains your concerns in your own words. You must include your real first and last name (not online handles) and full mailing address including any zip or postal code. The return address on the mailed letter will be yours, so it must be verifiable. They need to know your letter came from you, a real person. Your letter will only be seen by our volunteer coordinator and the volunteer who prints and mails your letter. All contact information and the content of the letter will be kept strictly confidential.
